RafterBooks is sold by Rafterbooks LLC. Checkout is processed by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record (store name RafterBooks); Lemon Squeezy’s checkout terms may also apply.

Product & price

RafterBooks is offered as a one-time purchase at the price shown at checkout. One purchase includes the browser edition (RafterBooks.html) and the Windows desktop program, plus the license file. On Windows, use the browser edition in Chrome or Edge, or the Windows desktop program. On a Mac, use the browser edition in Chrome (Safari support being tested). There is no Mac desktop app.

Delivery

Delivery is by digital download after successful payment. You receive access to the download files through the storefront purchase library / thank-you page. No physical shipment.

License

Use of the software is governed by the End-User License Agreement. One purchase covers one business (or one individual proprietor) on computers you own or control. The license is perpetual for the version you purchase (no subscription for the core offline app).

Updates

All future updates are free, forever.

Updates. Your one-time purchase includes all future versions and updates of RafterBooks that we publish, including new major versions, at no additional charge. We will never charge you to upgrade. We are not obligated to release updates, and we do not promise when updates will be released or what they will include. If we stop developing RafterBooks, the copy you downloaded will keep working under this license.

Separate products. We may also offer optional add-on products or services that are sold separately. Add-ons are not ‘updates’ under this section and are not required to use RafterBooks. We will not remove features included in RafterBooks or move them into a paid add-on.

Refunds (14 days)

Ask within 14 days of purchase for a full refund, no questions asked. Email support@rafterbooks.com. Lemon Squeezy’s checkout terms may also apply.

Email-only support at support@rafterbooks.com. We aim to reply within 2 business days (Monday–Friday, US Eastern). No support phone number.

RafterBooks is a bookkeeping helper for construction workflows. It is not certified tax software, not a payroll system, not a bank, and not a substitute for a CPA, bookkeeper, or attorney. See the EULA for warranty and liability terms.

Governing law

These purchase terms and the software license are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, USA, without conflict-of-law rules.
