Who we are

Rafterbooks LLC is the publisher and seller for this product. Contact: support@rafterbooks.com (email only). Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record under the store name RafterBooks.

This website

The RafterBooks marketing website is mostly a static site. We do not use advertising pixels, marketing trackers, or third-party fonts/CDNs. Visiting the pages does not create an account with us.

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-friendly service that sets no cookies and does not track individual visitors across sites. It collects only aggregate page stats (such as page views and referrers) so we can see which pages are useful. Cloudflare’s documentation describes this as cookieless analytics.

Launch waitlist

If you join the waitlist, we collect only your email address (and a timestamp / which page you used). We use it only to announce when the store opens or similar launch news for this product. Addresses are stored in a Cloudflare KV namespace bound to this site. We do not sell the list.

To unsubscribe or remove your address, email support@rafterbooks.com with subject Waitlist remove (or ask in any support email). We will delete your waitlist entry.

If the waitlist form cannot save (for example before Cloudflare KV is connected), use that same support address with subject Waitlist and we will add you by hand.

Purchases

Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record. When you buy, Lemon Squeezy collects payment and contact details needed to complete the sale and deliver downloads. Lemon Squeezy’s privacy policy applies to checkout and payment data. We may receive order information (such as your email and what you bought) so we can fulfill support and license questions.

Support email

If you email support@rafterbooks.com, we use the contents of your message only to answer your request and, when relevant, to look up or manage your purchase. We do not sell support email addresses or use them for unrelated marketing lists.

The RafterBooks app

RafterBooks is designed so your company data stays on your device:

• Browser edition: data in that browser’s storage on your computer, plus any JSON backups you export.
• Windows desktop: a data file you control (default Documents\RafterBooks), automatic daily backups, and any exports you make.

Warning: Clearing browser site data, switching browsers or profiles, using private/incognito mode, or losing this device can permanently erase records saved in the browser edition unless you keep a JSON backup. Export backups from Settings and store them somewhere safe (Drive, Dropbox, or a USB drive).

The app makes no network calls in normal use. RafterBooks does not host your books in the cloud and does not receive your invoices, customers, or financial entries through normal offline use. If you place the Windows data folder on OneDrive, Dropbox, or similar, that is your cloud account — not ours.

Backups you create

JSON backups are unencrypted files you save. Keep them somewhere safe. Do not put Social Security numbers, bank passwords, or card numbers in the app.

Children

RafterBooks is a business tool. It is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy when the site or product changes. The date at the top will be revised when we do.
